Tutorial: Creating custom effects
This tutorial will teach you how to create effects on your wallpapers.
You can create a great variety of other effects by combining the pre-built effects inside the application.
Creating custom effects from the pre-built effects
Step 1: Open the main interface (if not already done).
You can open it by double-clicking the tray application icon on the tray near the clock.
Step 2: Now that the main interface is shown, click on the Effects button to go to the effect interface.
Step 3: Click on the default category.
The effect interface will show a list of effect, which should be empty at this step.
Note: You must have at least one image in your wallpaper list to be able to set effects on your desktop.
If this is not done, add an image to your list now or before applying the effects.
You can refer to the Getting started tutorial if you need help with this.
Step 4: Click on the Add button to show a list of effects.
Select Ripples first and then Weave.
So you will have two effect in your list.
Step 5: To see the result immediately, click on the Apply button.
Step 6: We will inverse the order of the pre-built effects to create another effect on the wallpaper.
Select the Weave effect in the effect list and click the Move Up button.
Click again the Apply button to generate the results immediately.
Here are the result effects for the same image with the same effect list, but in different order.
