Gaia Green Racing™
Gaia Green Racing is a modern adaptation of the 8-bit/16-bit retro racing games of the 80s where the player drives an exotic and extremely powerful electric car through different levels generated procedurally under the theme of the renewable energies and social issues around the middle of the 21st century. Gaia Green Racing is inspired by the famous game SEGA® Outrun™, but this time you race green.
The concept of the game
Race for a cause
You are given an awesome and extremely powerful electric car to race around the world. You will race in scenery inspired by real-world scenery. Your mission is to clean the world from the remaining polluting cars and other sources of polluting. You have a limited time to clean the world in the same way that we have right now.
On your way to reach the end, you will find polluting cars all along the road. Every time you eliminate these polluting cars, you are rewarded with extra time to complete your mission.
An era of change in a near future
The game occurs in a near future around the middle of the 21st century. Most of the cars are electric now, except a few ones. The world has changed, but not enough to make sustainable changes. Along your race, you will see the state of the world and learn about the consequences of the past decisions.
A racing game around social innovation
Gaia Green Racing is not an ordinary racing game. It integrates a game mechanic around social issues to raise awareness on the issues. There are elements on the road that can get you into embarrassing situations like drunk driving and texting while driving. You need to avoid those elements. Racing green is much more than just avoiding pollution.
Choose your race
The game features three worlds with 15 levels each. Each world has one common level where to start and five different endings. From the first level until one of the endings, there are five levels to go through. Between the first and the last level, you choose your race by selecting among the next two levels available at the end of each level.
Gaia Green Racing is the first racing game in its genre to feature procedurally generated tracks. You can play tens of thousands of different tracks. Every time you play, you get a new track. That way, you can never get accustomed to the tracks' configuration.
The algorithm behind the track generation creates a new track every time with a balanced difficulty level and also by placing different elements to create an interest race through the different scenery.
This guarantees that the beginner and experienced drivers will always be challenged every time they play. It is all about the replay value!
Amazing and powerful electric vehicle
Gaia Green Racing features an awesome and extremely powerful electric car. The kind of electric car most people would dream of driving. This car is classified in the category of exotic cars. Since the race you are going to get in is around the world, your car has been adapted to race in a lot of conditions. So far, it is the most powerful car on the market.
